ABOUT US

Soul Town began with just a couple of guys wanting to continue to play great dance music. As the search began to put together a group of people who shared that desire, I was asked to join in on that search. Together we started to work some things out, but we were missing a piece of the puzzle. We were very fortunate to find Miss Vira Dee to round out the band. The band's name I give credit to my grandson who shares a hair cut with me every other Saturday, and has to listen to my music on those occasions. As we were struggling to find a name he suggested.. SOUL TOWN .. and the name stuck.

JACK CONNER

Jack begin his musical career back in Detroit singing with his very large family. After moving to Las Vegas, he along with another Jack, formed the band known as the Two Jacks Band. The band ran successfully for 15 years and opened up for Michael McDonald at the Las Vegas Hilton, and other acts at the Cannery Hotel and Casino.

VIRA DEE

Born and raised in Indonesia, Vira was introduced to Jack in December 2015. Vira started singing and playing her acoustic guitar with her brother at friend's parties and weddings in town. Her passion is not just to play and sing with Soul Town, but also to write songs on her own time and enjoy fashion modeling photography when she's not performing.

MARK ANDERSON

Mark grew up in Seattle and picked up his first bass at 12 years old. He joined the US Air Force and played in groups in Europe and the US.

Mark moved to Las Vegas in 2000 and joined Jack in the Two Jacks Band playing the Vegas music scene for 15 years. After a few years of fill in work, Mark has re-joined Jack and the rest of Soul Town as the full time Bassist.

TONY CEDOLA

Tony began his career playing the violin and the trombone, before moving on to the keyboards. Tony has opened for such groups as the Shangri Las, and the Tokens. He spent 7 years as Musical Director for the Nitekings.

JIMMY SANCHEZ

Jimmy started playing in local bars at the age of 16. His mom had to sign a paper giving her consent for him to play in the bars.

Jimmy continued playing in bands and over the years traveled and performed in 25 states. He has played in Mexico, and performed in several Las Vegas Strip Casino lounges. Jimmy has performed in 10 piece, 6, 5, 3 piece bands, and 1 man band.

Jimmy has recorded and written several songs. Over the years, he has established an inseparable relationship with his guitar whose name is "BABY GIRL".

"BABY GIRL" loves performing with Jimmy and Soul Town.

JACK JEWELL
Vocalist/Drummer. Not only his hands good at keeping the beats, Jack also known his skill and passion for all things under water. Jack has been playing music around Las Vegas for over 20 years.
